Accounting

The Department of accounting has sincerely been operating the academic since its inception on 1^st July, 1980. At one time all the classes of the dept were, somehow being run on by a single teacher.

Later on in 1994 on the basis of necessity and urgency, the Degree course has thereby been introduced to meet up the increasing demands of the related students. Due to the insufficiency of the teachers some teachers were recruited for the dept to run smoothly and efficiently. In 2006, the BBA (Honours) course was brought into the system of imparting updated and progressive education for the students.

In Narayanganj College, there are as many as eight (8) disciplines on Honours level for education and accounting is one of the enriched and keyed departments that have been acclaimed by people from all strata. Every year, the students of the dept. show their excellence and brilliancy in terms of yearly results both in internal and national echelon.

At present, in all seven (7) dedicated and devoted teachers are on their toes to conduct and operate all the duties and responsibilities of the department of those, MD. Shafiqul Islam, The Head of the dept, has been watching out the pros and cons of the department. Meanwhile our MBA program is yet to start and is under process. Needless to say all our academic and non-academic activities are being closely monitored by the governing body and the acting Principal as per rules and regulations.

This is how our departments and other activates are gradually reaching to the peak of success by the blessings of all.
