Narayanganj College, situated at Narayanganj city established in 1980. From the establishment period, the renowned personalities of the locality have been probing themselves as the part of governing body of the college. Well educated and trained teachers are available in this college. Though it started its expedition with a small range, now, it has covered a huge circumference. The Department of Home Economics of the college was opened in the session 1994 – 95 only for the HSC level. Afterward, during the session 1998 – 99 the department started offering course for the students of degree (pass). The availability of the Home Economics subject is only for the female students of the college. Presently the number of students of the subject is beyond 700. In future, the department has a goal to run post graduation programme. As a part of everyday science and time oriented subject there have vast opportunities to build up career by studying the subject.
